MLANG, North Cotabato—Apostolic Vicariate of Jolo Bishop Angelito Lampon, OMI, DD, one of the many religious coming from this town, will officiate the Presbyteral Ordination of another missionary priest who hails from Sta. Teresita parish here on October 25.
St. Matthew Province of the Rogantionist of the Heart of Jesus and the Quinga family are inviting the people of Mlang to witness the important celebration that will officially ordain Rev. Rogie Monje Quinga, RCJ as servant of God.
Rev. Quinga, RCJ was born and raised in Barangay Bialong, Mlang, North Cotabato and had dreamed of becoming priest since his childhood.
“He has been active in various Church activities during his elementary and high school years, “ a close neighbour Aurora Cercado-Pinol said.
“Mabuot gid nga bata ina. Waay gid ako nakabati nga nagbato sa iya amay kag iloy,” Mrs. Pinol added.
Mrs. Pinol added that during his childhood, Rev. Quinga never failed to attend Sunday masses even in their village chapel.
“Siguro calling niya gid nga maging pari. Kag nalipay kami nga may ara kami kasimanwa nga mahimo naman nga pari,” Mrs. Pinol stressed.
His constituents vowed to attend Fr. Quinga’s ordination to show their moral and spiritual support as their fellow villager officially takes on a life of service to God and His people.
