1. PROVINCIAL AGRO-INDUSTRIAL PARK DEVELOPMENT

2. MLANG RURAL AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT
Though this is a long-range project of the Provincial Government and the Air Transportation office, the Municipal Government of Mlang works hand-in-hand with them to source out funds from many funding agencies for the development of the Mlang Rural Airport. Its 2,400-meter runway can accommodate commercial planes in the future.

 

3. AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT
Aside from rice production, there still a wide opportunity for agricultural investment, specifically in the area of high-Value Crop Production such as Oil Palm, Rubber, Coconut, Pummelo, and Banana. With the vast land area and (2) irrigation systems, the municipality has a lot to offer in terms of agricultural development.

 

4. SANITARY LANDFILL DEVELOPMENT
In response to the mandate of R.A. 9003, otherwise known as the Solid Waste Management Act, the Municipal Government of Mlang declared the development of the Sanitary Landfill as one of the priority areas which every LGU dreams to be a dream comes true. A 10- hectare area was purchased by the Municipal Government for this purpose, and is now being developed into a full-scare Sanitary Landfill.

 

5. HOUSING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Slum dwelling is among the social problems that developing municipalities and cities are confronted with. These easily pop-up along the river banks, road rights of way of municipal streets and along national highways. The Municipal Government of Mlang has considered this as one of the priority investment areas because entails mode funds, preparation, and sacrifices in order that these sectors will be put in place, initial steps have been made by the Municipal Government of Mlang by purchasing a five-hectare land for the settlement of these informal settlers after the social preparation and organization has been conducted.
